Does your child ever ask for toys or games?
For this activity your child will pretend to choose a toy to buy, from a catalogue or online. With an imaginary amount of pocket money, they will work out how long it would take to save for the toy. This will help your child to understand that they can make choices about how to spend or save their money, as well as understanding the value of items. 

Help child make sensible spending decisions, such as making a choice to save for something important.
